Pane glass (mirrors, picture frames, windows)

Pane glass (such as mirrors or picture frames) should be placed in your household trash. They should NOT go in the recycling bin.

Glass bottles and jars are banned from the trash in Vermont. They should go in the recycling.

If items are broken, wrap the broken pieces in paper towels or another material to keep them from breaking through the trash bag and causing injury.

Items too large to be placed in household trash are accepted at all LRSWMD locations for landfill disposal.
