Lamoille Soil compost is available for sale to the public seasonally
Fill-your-own 5-gallon bucket for $3
at the Johnson, Morrisville, and Stowe stations during normal operating hours.
Cubic yards: $75*
at Lamoille Soil at the Johnson Transfer Station on Fridays and Saturdays 9:00AM - 3:00PM, or Sundays by appointment only (call ahead at 802-635-9246)

At Lamoille Soil we use an aerated static pile (ASP) process to make compost from food scraps collected in Lamoille County. The ASP process forces air through stationery piles creating enough heat to reduce pathogens and kill weed seeds.
