Cell phones can be reused or recycled through national programs, or the carrier or manufacturer. All LRSWMD Drop-off Locations also accept cell phones for recycling.

Cell phones with their batteries are accepted for FREE recycling as part of Vermont’s Call2Recycle battery program. Worn out cell phone batteries can also be recycled at retailers participating in the rechargeable battery take-back program or at any of the LRSWMD Drop-Off Locations.
