Household batteries can also be recycled for FREE at a variety of other locations. Search your zip code here for a list of locations.
Please DO NOT ever put lithium containing batteries in the trash. Lithium is extremely reactive and these batteries are highly prone to thermal runaway, which can result in fires that are hard to put out. Lithium is a light weight metal that can be recycled infinitely and completely, so recycling your batteries helps reduce the environmental burden of virgin lithium mining.
Automotive batteries are only accepted at the Johnson, Morrisville, Stowe, and Worcester sites.
