Ballasts from fluorescent light fixtures are accepted for special disposal at all of our sites. The cost is $2.50 each.

These devices are used to power fluorescent light fixtures. They are located within the casing of the fixture and can contain hazardous materials. Please use great care in removing ballasts from light fixtures. If the ballast is leaking, please place it in a thick plastic bag before transporting it. For the safety of our employees, please do not place them in your household trash or recycling.
