Before throwing away your old sports gear, try donating or reselling it. Front Porch Forum, Facebook marketplace, and the Buy Nothing Project offer places to trade, lend, give, or sell your used items.

You can also sell your used items to Power Play Sports in downtown Morrisville, where they will hopefully find a new home. Buying used sports equipment instead of new -- especially for growing kids -- is also a great way to reduce your use of the earth's resources.

ReSource also accepts sports equipment in good condition for donation.
