Morrisville Transfer Station

A new platform has been constructed on site from which customers will deposit bags of trash and empty food scrap. Attendants will not be handling items so customers should be prepared to unload their own items when they arrive.

Hours: Saturday, 8:30am – 1:30pm

Many items are not safe to discard with your regular trash. Other items have value when reused or recycled making it important to keep them out of the landfill. The State of Vermont is proactive to ensure certain materials are handled properly to protect the safety of its residents and its environment. The items lsited below are accepted at our Morrisville Transfer Station:

  • Cell Phones
  • CFLs and Fluorescent Tubes
  • Electronics
  • Food Scraps
  • Mercury Products
  • Mixed Recyclables (Aluminum, Cardboard, Paper, Plastic)
  • Plastic Shopping Bags
  • Propane Tanks
  • Scrap Metal
  • Tires
  • Trash
